Press conference on the occasion of international folklore and ethnographic festival within the realization Ukrainian – Romanian project “Historical and ethnographic heritage – the part of continued development of tourism in Bukovina” took place on July, the 10th, 2015 in the Red Hall of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

The event was opened by the project coordinator Fedortsov Dmytro, who introduced the project team and outlined the main problems and tasks of this project realized by universities of Chernivtsi and Sucaeva.

The speeches at the press conference were given by Senchuk Ruslan - deputy head of Chernivtsi regional state administration; Cocieru Bohdan – manager of the project from the side of partner 1, professor in the Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava, Romania; Baryshnikova Nina – official representative of Suceava office of common technical secretariat of common operational program Romania-Ukraine – republic of Moldova; Melnychuk Stepan– rectorof Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, doctor of sciences in Physics and Mathematics, professor, academician, Rudenko Valeriy - dean of the faculty of geographic, doctor of geographic sciences, professor, head of the department of economic geography and ecologic management, project manager; Chuchko Myhailo Konstiantynovych – doctor of historical sciences, professor, head of the department of ethnology, ancient and medieval history, project manager.

Peculiarities of festival organization and its program were presented by project manager Jeanna Buchko. In general, 40 people took part in the press conference: members of the “Heritage” project team, representatives of regional state administration, reporters of TV channels “Promin”, “Bukovina”, “Chernivtsi”, regional media, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University staff, and students of geographic faculty of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.
