12th Bukovynian Tourist Fair

On 14 May 2017 Taras Shevchenko Culture and Recreation Park hosted the 12 th Bukovynian Tourist Fair, which is held for the presentation of the tourism potential of Bukovyna and popularization of recreational activity, and it opens the tourist season in the region. The event was organized by the Tourism Department of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration and Chernivtsi City Hall. The program of the tourist fair focuses on getting familiar with tourist recreational capacities of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, the presentation of thematic types of tourism, cultural heritage of national communities, rest and recreation in resorts and country mansions.

Many handmade objects, dishes, vyshyvankas and other souvenirs were displayed at the fair as it was done in the previous years.
