The museum was opened in 1999. It is located in a living house where the Ivasyuk family lived. In the five rooms of the museum the interiors of apartments of parents and the composer who lived here in 1971-1972 are presented, the detailed exposition on the life and work of V. Ivasyuk. In general in the apartment that which is called memoriality is preserved: books, vinyl records, photos, recorded music notes, drafts of music works, Volodya’s piano and violin, on which he played, yet when he studied at musical school. Namely, here are kept the authentic things, unviolability of lifetime aura of the house of creative person. The museum is a center of creative meetings, competitions, festivals, concerts and exhibitions. A memorial plaque is installed on the building.
