Description

This sculpture was installed in May 1992. It was presented to citizens of Chernivtsi by residents of twin-town Salt Lake City (USA). This twinning was established by mayors of the cities Pavlo Kaspruk and Lowell F. Turner (for the time of monument installation they were no longer among the living). Dennis Smith made the sculpture. In its content the sculpture reflects the friendship between the two peoples, the creative idea is embodied in the figures of girls who are playing with thread. The meaning of the child's play is possible there where the problems are solved together. The author sought to show that it is necessary to see a child and all that good that there is in a man in everyone.
