Description

”The National Trout Festival” is already at the 10th edition, which proves the seriousness of its organizers. It takes place each year, during the period between August 14 and 16, being connected to the annual feast of Ciocănești village, namely the Assumption from August 15. Different manifestations take place, such as: religious moments, Christian corals, popular costumes parade and, certainly, a contest of recreational fishing. Such festival, as the name suggests, should not exclude fish dishes and namely the trout. The latter, prepared in different ways, will be served to those participating in the celebration. On this occasion, the craftsmanship of those who still know how to build a raft and then to drive it on the agitated water of Bistrița. The fact that at this festival arrive tourists from Romania, but also from other countries, proves that the people living there know how to cherish their values and to show them to those who want to see such beautiful things.
