Description

“Bukowina” house museum from Putna is a museum recently created by the primary school teacher Emiliea Bâcu, being situated in a wooden house from the end of the XIXth century. The ethnographic exhibits depict the inside of a traditional house and the locals' occupations. Hence, in addition to the rural and urban furniture, the visitor can admire different traditional fabrics, popular costumes, wood painted or lithographic icons, different household and pastoral wooden items, ceramic and glass articles. The loom and the other instruments needed for this job are also displayed here.
