This house belonged the priest and folklorist Gheorghe Piotrovschi's father-in-law, being actually a parish house. It seems that at the beginning the house was a hostel, lead by Jews .Siomion Florea Marian lived here between 1877 and 1883 when he worked as a teacher and priest in Siret. From the late XIXth century the house has been as private residence, after having undergone some modifications as compared to the initial dwelling.
