Description
It has a special value for the Jewish community of Romania, but also for the Jewish Community in the world. The cemetery has a large number of gravestones with carved Hebrew decorations. The oldest gravestone dates back from 1560, proving that the old cemetery of Siret is also one of the oldest cemeteries in the eastern Europe, being declared historical monument.
