Description

Burdujeni Railway station works started in 1892 on the land given by the Burdujeni estate, in the grassland of Suceava river. The works were performed by the Italian private company Celesti Construttirice Edilitates Ceretti e Tanfani from Milano after a similar project of the station of the Swiss town of Fribourg. The, it was built the upper floor of the building and the two side pavilions. The construction of the building was completed in 1898, but the sun-blind of the main platform and other auxiliary installations were completed only in 1902.
