The construction of this edifice started in the year 1990, being situated in Zamca, which gives it an imposing position over the entire city. This is owed also to its imposing dimensions: 65 m length, 20 m width and 70 m high. As any other religios building which considers all philantropic and cultural activities, this was structured on two floors. The basement is used for a library, a museum, a reading room, a philanthropic activity hall, a conferece room and a public assistance room. The upper part will be used only for liturgy service. The building is completed only at the outside, where four 24 karats golden crosses were mounted, as well as the mosaics with the three fest days of the cathedral on the northern, western and southern walls. At the inside, marble flooring will be placed, than the iconostatis and the painting will be done.
