It was founded especially by the inhabitants of Ițcani and it was built out of brick, on a rock foundation, in the year 1938. The church has the shape of a cross, with a central tower on the nave and with the bell tower situated on the porch. The church painting was made between the years 1969 and 1970 by the brothers Mihai and Gavril Moroşan, in the ”fresco” technique. It was cleaned between the years 2004 and 2008 by Mihai Moroșan. As a result, the church was sanctified again by the I.P.S. Pimen Suceveanul on November 5, 2008.
