Upon the initiative of the eng. Florin Usatiuc from Vatra Dornei and of the poet Ioan Manole, a typical wood house from Bukovina was acquired (a house having a verandah, being covered with shingles, similar to that in which the teacher Vasile Eminovici, Mihai Eminescu grandfather used to live. The house was moved to the old cemetery of the church of Călinești-Cuparencu village, here being also set-up a „Eminescu documentary point”. The memorial house was fitted step by step with a few furniture pieces and items from that period. In front of the house a bronze bust of the poet Mihai Eminescu was placed, on a massive block of andesite; the bust was made by the sculptor Marcel Mănăstireanu from Botosani. In the year 2005, Călinești-Cuparencu village was included in „Mihai Eminescu” Literary Festival Circuit, organised by Suceava County Council.
