Description

The memorial house of Udesti was inaugurated in the year 1984 on one of the main streets in the centre of the village, in the house inherited by the writer Eusebiu Camilar (1910-1965) from his parents and completed by him with a new room and a porch. The main exhibition and the memorial spaces, distributed in three rooms, contain an important fund of items with an impressive evocative power, suggestive for the work, of a cruel realism, which Eusebiu Camilar (1910-1965) left to posterity in pages of prose, poetry and dramaturgy. The exhibits are edifying regarding the relationships of the writer with the people of his home village.
