The Heroes' Cemetery of Vama is an important tourism objective commemorating the military men who died between the two World Wars. It is placed on Buzău Hill, dedicated to the village heroes fallen everywhere, but also to the foreign ones, known or unknown, buried in the graveyards of the commune. It is about 143 Romanian, Russian, Austrian and Hungarian soldiers who died at Pleşa and Poiana Micului and buried in the Heroes' cemetery, but also about the people of Vama who died in wars all over the world, 181 in the First World Conflagration and 55 who died in the Second World War.
