It is situated on str. Mihai Eminescu nr. 17, in the Mayoralty building. It was established in the year 1987 and gives a general image of the popular creation from the Mountain area of Bukovina, especially Dornelor County. The exhibit successively presents the main domains of the popular art, structured around the Mountain ethnographic areas. They represent the main occupations of the inhabitants, by representing the popular artistic phenomenon. Also, they represent two of the specific occupations of Dornelor area: livestock rearing and cribbing. The museum holds two traditional interiors presenting visitors the harmony and charm of a peasant house. The collection contains exhibits of the popular costume from Bukovina, craft and ceramic tools from Bukovina.
