On 22 May 2016 Chernivtsi hosted the 11th Bukovynian Tourist Fair where 72 individuals involved in tourism and trade manufacturing activity participated. The event was opened by the deputy head of the Regional State Administration Vitaliy Usyk, Chernivtsi mayor Oleksii Kaspruk, head of Chernivtsi Regional Association “Touristic Bukovyna” Viktor Skrypnyk, head of the Department of Ecology and Tourism Yaroslav Kohutiak.

December 4, 2015 Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University held the official opening of the Museum of Ethnography and Ancient History, pursuing the aim of submitting the general audience the historical peculiarities of our region, characteristics of life, national costumes and handicrafts.
26-29 November, the second cycle of trainings was held for representatives of tourism business from Chernivtsi and Suceava County.
